Job Description
We are looking for a talented sales assistant who loves retail, loves a challenge, and loves waking up each day with a passion for making a difference.
You will assist with:
* Retail sales and operation of Point of Sale devices;
* Collecting, sorting, and pricing donations in store;
* Assisting in the development and coordination of visual merchandising and store presentation;
* Providing exceptional Customer Service;
* Displaying stock in correct departments, following policy and procedure;
* Following Occupational Health and Safety policy and procedures;
* Demonstrating TSA core values in all work-related activities.
About You
We are looking for someone with a high-energy, hands-on approach and a proven track record in providing extraordinary customer service. You should be comfortable aligning to The Salvation Army Mission and Values and be prepared to positively support and impact the lives of others through your career contribution.
About Us
Salvos Stores is made up of a team of changemakers who are passionate about raising funds to help The Salvation Army provide care to disadvantaged Australians. We have over 360 retail stores and an extensive online presence.
Requirements
* Flexibility to work a rolling roster including weekends;
* Ability to work across various locations in the retail area;
* Strong written and verbal communication skills;
* Good interpersonal skills;
* Solid technical skills.
