We are a well-established Timber Sawmill seeking a motivated and hardworking Forklift Operator to join our production team. This is a hands-on, physical role suited to someone who enjoys active work and being part of a supportive team environment. On the job training will be provided to the right person.
About the Role
As a Forklift Operator, you will assist in various aspects of sawmill operations, including loading and unloading timber, bundling and strapping timber for dispatch, manual handling tasks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role requires energy, initiative, and a strong commitment to safety.
What We're Looking For
* Forklift licence (LF) essential
* Forklift experience highly desirable
* Heavy Rigid (HR) licence is not essential; however it would be highly regarded
* Strong, fit, and energetic individuals
* Reliable own transport
* Punctual and dependable, with a positive attitude
* Experience in manual handling or labour-intensive work desirable
* Good teamwork skills and the ability to work well with others
* Ability to strictly follow all safety procedures
* Australian work rights required
