About the Opportunity One of our very established, reputable bulk billing clinics with a strong focus on quality patient care in the Glan Devon area is losing their principal GP in the New Year; and is looking to hire vocationally registered general practitioners who are ideally available at least 4 days a week. Doctors who are skilled, experienced and qualified to perform skin cancer checks and procedures will have a strong advantage as the outgoing GP does a lot of skin work and the clinic is fully set up with treatment rooms and skin cancer detection technology. You will be joining a team of 5 - 6 doctors with a large patient base that is fully booked servicing the local community around Nanango Hospital, Nanango Police Station, Nanango State High School, Nanango Airport, sports clubs and aged care facilities. General medical services offered here include reproductive health, hearing/heart/lung function checks, chronic disease management, family medicine, minor procedures, diabetes education, wound management, immunisations and mental health in collaboration with registered nurses and visiting allied healthcare professionals. Consultations are appointment based with the occasional walk-in for urgent cases where doctors have the flexibility of choosing their own shifts within the surgery’s opening hours.
