Salary: $72,753 - $77,536 p.a. plus Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice benefits – AHA3

About the Role
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking an Activity Supervisor to join our Forensic Mental Health Service. The Service is multidisciplinary and includes inpatient secure psychiatric beds, out‐patient service, psychiatric clinics, prison in‐reach service, community team and court assessment service. James Nash House is a secure psychiatric hospital that mainly serves patients declared not guilty by reason of mental impairment or unfit to plead.
The Activity Supervisor works in the Occupational Therapy Department and supports Occupational Therapists in delivering services to patients, designing and delivering therapeutic activities that support rehabilitation and recovery.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and facilitate group and individual therapeutic activities.
* Co‐develop tailored programmes that promote social skills and independence.
* Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure activities align with treatment goals.
* Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
* Ensure safe and supportive environments for all participants.
Qualifications
Minimum requirement: Certificate 4 in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent.
Experience in activity coordination, preferably within mental health or disability services.
Strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively within a secure health‐care environment.

* Appointment subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check.
