About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead our key operation in Dandenong South. As the successful candidate, you will have the ability to think strategically and make smart business decisions while also leading the day-to-day operations of the site.
You will be an enabler of growth and cost efficiency, driving business results through effective leadership and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategy & Development: Develop and implement best practice operations vision, strategies, processes, policies & procedures to improve overall operations performance.
* Continuous Improvement: Lead and sponsor the continuous improvement culture across the site, driving innovation and excellence in all areas of production.
* Production Management: Manage all areas of plant production to deliver products that meet quality, cost, volume and service criteria.
* Maintenance: Oversee all maintenance and specific capital engineering activities onsite.
* Quality: Ensure all quality standards are met according to Brickworks standards.
* Safety: Ensure the safety of all employees onsite, committing to and setting standards on work safe procedures and lead work safe behaviours.
* Leadership: Add capability to the senior management team influencing and providing direction across operations and manufacturing.
* Financial & Budget Control: Plan and prepare all operations budget and forecasts, responsible for achieving budget and forecast.

Requirements
* Experience in similar site leadership roles within the Industrial Manufacturing space or related industries.
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or related discipline.
* 5+ years experience at the Site Management level.
* Proactive leader with the ability to achieve results quickly and influence the team.
