About This Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Procure to Pay (P2P) process for imported materials on a national scale. They will work closely with internal teams such as Manufacturing, Trade, Logistics, Legal, Finance, and the Executive Committee, as well as external vendors, to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Procure to Pay (P2P) Process: Streamline and automate procurement processes to minimize costs and improve efficiency. Convert requisitions to purchase orders in line with company policies. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement. Expedite purchase orders and resolve supplier invoice issues. Communicate purchase order statuses and manage supplier relationships to meet business needs.
* Logistics Coordination: Oversee the collection and delivery of containers from the wharf to the point of consumption. Collaborate with planning and customer service teams to meet customer demands. Provide logistics analysis and reporting for imported goods. Liaise with Customs and freight forwarding agents as required.
* Data Maintenance: Ensure the integrity of supplier, pricing, and material data. Develop efficiency improvements to reduce manual data entry. Communicate supplier pricing changes across the business.
Requirements:
We're looking for a candidate with relevant CIPS certification(s) and at least 3 years' experience in a similar role. They should possess strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills, as well as analytical mindset and sound administration capabilities. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and modern ERP systems (preferably SAP) is also required.
