Location: Greater Perth — preference for candidates based north of the River.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise daily production activities in the modular yard (fabrication, assembly, internal fit-out and QA).
* Coordinate trades, subcontractors and site personnel to meet production schedules and delivery milestones.
* Read and interpret construction & shop drawings to plan build sequences.
* Conduct routine inspections and quality assurance checks; ensure modules meet client specifications.
* Implement and enforce WHS procedures; lead a strong safety culture and toolbox talks.
* Manage material flows, stock control and light plant coordination to reduce delays.
* Maintain clear communication with Project Managers and stakeholders.
* Coach, mentor and develop yard staff; support competency uplift and on-boarding.
* Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase throughput and reduce rework.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* Certificate IV / Diploma in Building & Construction or similar (preferred).
* Construction Induction (White Card) — mandatory.
* Current WA driver's licence.
* Minimum 3+ years' supervisory experience in modular, commercial construction or production/assembly environments.
* Strong understanding of modular building systems and production sequencing.
* Proficient reading construction drawings and basic production documentation.
* Solid WHS knowledge and experience implementing site safety systems.
* Computer literate (MS Office — Excel particularly).
* Clear leadership, communication and team coordination skills.
Benefits
* Competitive salary $100k–$140k (depending on experience).
* Stable, full-time role with long-term project pipelines.
* Work for a specialist modular builder and genuinely influence production processes.
* Supportive team culture with opportunities for upskilling and progression.
