Experienced Bindery Operator / Print Finisher

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Bindery Operator / Print Finisher to join our tight-knit team. This role involves a mix of machine finishing, hand finishing and general production support, with the opportunity to assist on our 2-colour GTO offset press during busy periods or when our press operator is on leave.
This position is ideal for a true all-rounder who enjoys variety and takes pride in producing high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities
* Machine and hand finishing of offset, digital and large-format printed jobs
* Operating a range of finishing equipment, including:
* Guillotines
* Folders
* Creasing machines
* Collators
* Stitchers
* Wire binding equipment
* 4-head drill press
* Celloglazing machines
* General handwork, packing and preparation of jobs for dispatch
* Working closely with other departments to meet deadlines and maintain quality
* Assisting on a 2-colour GTO offset press when required (advantageous but not essential)

About You
You are someone who:
* Has experience in a similar bindery or finishing role (minimum 2 years preferred)
* Can work independently with minimal supervision
* Is reliable, physically fit and comfortable standing for long periods
* Can lift boxes of print up to 15kg
* Has strong attention to detail and good time management skills
* Communicates well and thrives in a fast-paced production environment
* Is enthusiastic, professional and a genuine team player
Trade qualifications are an advantage but not essential.
No two days are the same — one day may involve cutting large volumes of stock, the next wire-binding books, and the next finishing dozens of smaller jobs. Variety is guaranteed.
