Job Title: Occupational Therapist/Director – Whitsundays, Queensland.
Hours: Permanent – Full Time. Flexible working hours.
Practice Information
This private occupational therapy practice has been servicing various communities in the beautiful Whitsundays in Queensland for the past 8 years. Their team currently consists of 3 senior Occupational Therapists. The primary service is dedicated to supporting children and their families; however, they also offer occupational therapy services throughout the lifespan via NDIS, Home Care, Medicare and private participants. The team embraces neuroaffirming practices and prides itself on evolving as a service. They seek connections and collaboration with the families they work with, other health professionals, providers and the greater community.
Position Details
Your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Providing high-quality assessment and therapy services to clients (including NDIS, Home Care, Medicare and private) in the clinic, home and community.
* Working closely with clients, their families, other service providers and community organisations to improve the overall function and participation of individuals of all abilities within our community.
* Working closely with the team to support continued development and service improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA Registration.
* Minimum of 2 years experience is desirable, with experience working within the NDIS and Home Care. New graduate applications are welcome.
* Must have current Police Check.
* Must have current driver's licence.
* Demonstrated high level of communication skills and teamwork.
* Self‐motivated, enthusiastic, and passionate about providing evidence‐based practice.
Salary Information
Great remuneration – base salary ranging from $78,000-$95,000 + super + additional salary package.
Generous package includes:
* Professional Development Scheme – $1500/6 months for full‐time clinicians.
* Health and Wellbeing scheme – $500/6 months for full‐time clinicians.
* Bonus scheme – received when expected weekly billable hours are exceeded.

This position is located in our established Bowen clinic which houses 4 well‐equipped therapy rooms including a paediatric gym room, large therapy room, 2 roomy consultation rooms, separate office spaces and an abundance of resources. Bowen is a coastal town located in the Whitsundays, where paradise is on your doorstep and everything is less than a 5 minute drive away. Our friendly Whitsundays community has a lot to offer, from world‐renowned beaches, incredible reef fishing, snorkeling, and bushwalks, to great dining and regular community social activities. There is also a domestic airport only 45 minutes down the road at Proserpine, connecting to all major cities.
