About the Role :
We are after experienced Duty Managers to join our team and work a mix of Duty Manager and Non-Duty Manager shifts at Event Cinemas Shellharbour. We are looking for candidates that are flexible and available for a mix of night's and weekends including school holidays and public holidays.
This role requires someone with enthusiasm; drive and exceptional people skills,you will effectively influence, engage, and motivate your team to achieve our site's goals and business objectives. You will thrive in an ever-changing environment with the ability to challenge the status quo and come up with new and exciting initiatives.
The roles' key accountabilities include:
- Operational responsibility for the cinema in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant Manager, ensuring all departments follow the correct service procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintaining a guest focus with an emphasis on delivering quality service and striving to exceed this standard including responding to internal and external customer feedback (requiring exceptional product knowledge)
- Work closely with the senior management team to ensure a positive and energetic team culture.
- Revenue and financial responsibility including meeting revenue targets and KPI's
- Operational responsibilities include; OH&S policies and procedures are continually followed (including RSA), the operation, maintenance, and repair of all equipment, and monitoring the completion of daily opening and closing procedures.
To be considered for this role you'll need to demonstrate the following.
- A high level of energy.
- At least 12 months experience in a Supervisory role or Duty Manager level.
- A genuine can-do attitude and willingness to get your hands dirty and get stuck in.
- An ability to adapt and thrive under pressure.
- Superior organisational and multi-tasking skills.
- Hungry for professional growth and development.
- A considerable amount of passion – for our business and for your team.
- RSA and Senior First Aid certificate is preferable however not required.
- Availability and Willingness to work nights and weekends.
