Black Alchemy Café is a boutique café situated in Blackburn across the road from Blackburn Railway Station with a bustling and fun environment. We are looking for an energetic and bubbly barista / server to join our team
Qualifications & experience
- Looking for energetic, bright and positive barista with prior experience in brewing great coffee
- Ability to work fast and efficiently in a busy café environment with friendly and positive attitude
- Coffee and food knowledge. Understanding of coffee machine and coffee grinder adjustments
- A fun and positive attitude towards customers and members of staff
Tasks & responsibilities
- Primary responsibility behind the coffee machine producing consistent quality coffee
- Provide exceptional customer service and leave a positive impression on regular customers
- Clearing tables and ensuring the café is in a clean and presentable state outside of coffee rushes
- Bringing food and beverages out to tables when needed
- Taking orders both at the till and at the tables when needed
- Making basic simple cold drinks like smoothies and juices
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
**Salary**: $43,586.25 - $55,000.00 per year
