This position is a
Full-time
role - Monday to Friday between
7:30
am -
3:30
pm
Responsibilities
* Implement and modify (where required) a seasonal menu created by our nutritionist
* Maintain regular checks in compliance with the NSW Food Standards Code and Health Regulations
* Assist staff and families in providing high-quality education and care
* Collaborate with the staff and families to facilitate learning opportunities relevant to the educational program
* Maintain professional, supportive and respectful relationships between management, staff, families and children
About You
* Demonstrated Cook/Chef experience in the Aged Care or Early Childhood Education and Care sector
* An ACECQA-approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care is preferred but not mandatory
* Alternatively, a relevant Commercial Cooks qualification
* Food Handlers Basics Certificate
* Valid NSW Employee Working with Children Check
* Knowledge of Food Standards Codes, EYLF and NQS
