The primary role of a Business Analyst in this position is to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions within the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform.
This requires close collaboration with stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to gather and document business requirements related to finance, operations, procurement, and supply chain processes.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving business process improvements, supporting end-to-end implementation, and enabling users to get the most out of D365 F&O.
Key Responsibilities:
* Gather and document business requirements through collaborative efforts with stakeholders and technical teams.
* Translate business needs into functional specifications, workflows, and user stories for development teams.
* Conduct gap analysis between business requirements and D365 F&O capabilities.
* Assist in solution design, system configuration, and support of customisations.
* Support UAT, training, and change management processes across relevant business units.
* Serve as a liaison between functional teams and technical resources, ensuring smooth delivery of enhancements and upgrades.
* Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for live environments, identifying root causes and recommending improvements.
* Maintain alignment with project timelines, scope, and business expectations.
Skills & Experience Required:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst working specifically with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
* Strong knowledge of Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
* Experience with end-to-end ERP implementations or major upgrade projects.
* Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate, is highly desirable.
* Ability to create functional documentation, user stories, and process maps using tools like BPMN or Visio.
* Skilled in stakeholder engagement and change management within complex enterprise environments.
* Experience with Azure DevOps / Lifecycle Services (LCS) is an advantage.
* Knowledge of business processes across finance, operations, and procurement.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams.
