What you will be doing
Due to rapid growth, our client is now seeking a Project Manager to join their business on a permanent basis. Current projects include a mix of new Commercial Office developments, Residential Units, Office Fit-outs and Car Parking structures. The successful candidate will be Based out of Darra and will be responsible, but not limited to the following duties:
* Lead end-to-end delivery of business and technology park construction projects from planning through to completion
* Develop and manage project programs, budgets, schedules, and resource plans
* Coordinate multi-stage developments including commercial buildings, shared infrastructure, and public realm works
* Manage consultants, contractors, and specialist advisors across construction and technology disciplines
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, tenants, authorities, and key stakeholders
* Oversee site activities to ensure progress, quality, and compliance with approved designs and specifications
* Manage procurement, tendering, contracts, and contractor performance
* Monitor costs, approve variations and claims, and control project cash flow
* Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle
* Ensure compliance with planning approvals, building codes, WHS, and environmental regulations
* Promote and enforce strong health, safety, and quality standards on site
* Coordinate integration of ICT, smart building systems, and future-ready infrastructure
* Manage design changes and value-engineering initiatives as required
* Provide regular project reporting, schedules, and status updates to senior stakeholders
* Oversee commissioning, testing, practical completion, and handover to operations and tenants
What you will need
* Driver’s Licence + reliable transport
* Construction White Card
* Previous experience in a similar role (min 2 years)
* Understanding of construction methods (groundworks, structural work, finishes, MEP basics)
* Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules
* Knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations
* Construction sequencing & logistics planning
* Familiarity with materials, tools, and equipment
* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., risk assessments, method statements)
* Ability to enforce site safety rules and conduct toolbox talks
* Strong verbal communication for instructions and problem-solving
