Our centre is a hub for delivering world-class cancer treatments and we are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team. As part of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for implementing plans and treatments that meet the best interests of patients. Your work will involve collaborating with other departments to provide comprehensive care.
About the Role
This is a 6-month full-time opportunity where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality planning and treatment services aligned with the Radiation Oncologist's prescription. You will have the opportunity to work with advanced technology, including Varian suite, and use techniques such as Stereotactic treatments, Deep Inspiration Breath Hold (DIBH), 4DCT, Surface Guided Radiation Therapy (SGRT), LDR brachytherapy, and Auto Beam Hold.

Our Technology & Techniques
You will have access to a range of advanced technologies, including Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator, Eclipse Treatment Planning System, and Aria Patient Information Management System. These technologies enable us to deliver precise and effective cancer treatments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* AHPRA registration as a Radiation Therapist
* WA Radiation Licence to use a radiation source
* Experience in planning and plan-checking across various techniques
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Leadership capability and mentoring experience
* Experience with stereotactic techniques (desired)
* Familiarity with private healthcare service models
