Allied Health Assistant, Queensland Health
Contribute to patient care by providing administrative and clinical assistance to the Allied Health Professionals (AHP) in their day-to-day clinical duties within social work at Ripley Specialised Inpatient Specialist Services.
About the role
Ripley Specialised Inpatient Services is a state-of-the-art facility that will deliver 90 additional beds in West Moreton as part of Queensland Health's Accelerated Infrastructure Delivery Program. The project will deliver a three-storey facility located on Botany Drive, South Ripley. It is located on the Ripley Health Campus and is co-located with the current Satellite Health Centre.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Ability to provide a defined range of patient interventions as delegated by an allied health professional.
Ability to effectively communicate with clients and staff. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team with a good understanding of your own scope of practice.
Personal time management skills, including the ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities and the ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required.
Delivers work of high quality, validity, and accuracy.
Mandatory Requirements:
Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine-preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. *****.
