We are seeking a Program Manager to join a high-performing Federal Government Department. The successful Program Manager will play a key role in strategic planning, governance, stakeholder coordination, security oversight, and program reporting across a complex and highly regulated delivery setting.
The successful Program Manager will secure a 12-month contract with 1x12 month extension option, based in Canberra.
The Program Manager will be responsible for but not limited to;
* Developing and maintaining strategic plans
* Leading governance, coordination, and reporting activities across multiple branches
* Managing complex stakeholder relationships across government and other key delivery partners
* Monitoring risks, issues, dependencies, financial performance, workforce planning, and program assurance activities
* Preparing senior briefings, submissions, budget reports, stakeholder plans, and regulatory coordination materials
The Program Manager will have experience in the following:
* Experience in project and program delivery, ideally within Defence or similarly regulated environments
* Knowledge of governance, risk, assurance, and security frameworks
* Proven ability to coordinate across multi-disciplinary technical and policy teams
* Exceptional stakeholder engagement, executive communication, budgeting, forecasting, and workforce planning capability
