About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Solar Sales Advisor to join our team at DQ Electrical Pty Ltd in Adelaide, SA. This full-time role will see you at the forefront of our solar energy solutions, educating customers on the perks of renewable energy and helping them transition to a more sustainable future.
What you'll be doing
1. Proactively engage with potential customers to understand their energy needs and provide tailored solar solutions
2. Conduct site assessments and provide detailed proposals outlining system specifications and projected savings
3. Liaise with customers throughout the sales process to ensure a seamless experience
4. Stay up-to-date with the latest solar technologies, industry regulations and market trends
5. Work collaboratively with our installation team to ensure a smooth handover and customer satisfaction
6. Contribute to the growth of our solar business by identifying new sales opportunities
What we're looking for
1. Proven experience in a sales or consulting role, preferably within the renewable energy or home improvement industry
2. Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly understand and explain complex solar solutions
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and build long-term relationships
4. A genuine passion for renewable energy and a commitment to sustainability
5. The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
6. Relevant qualifications or certifications in solar energy, electrical engineering or a related field would be highly regarded
