We are currently seeking an experienced Casual Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The successful applicant must be able to work a variety of weekday shifts.
Certificate II in Commercial Cookery and/or equivalent.
Experience working in an aged care or commercial cooking environment will be highly regarded.
Demonstrates genuine desire to care for frail aged people.
Able to effectively communicate in written and oral English.
Able to prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required.
Able to clean and organise kitchen and equipment in adherence to hygiene and safety regulations.
Experience preserving and storing foodstuffs in appropriate temperature‐controlled facilities.
Willing to obtain a current Police Clearance Certificate.
