About the Role
We are currently seeking a compassionate and energetic Disability Support Worker to provide 1:1 care to a participant
The participant requires assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), personal care, meal preparation, light domestic duties, transportation, and social & community access.
This is a rewarding role for someone with a genuine passion for helping others and the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide personal care (toileting, showering, grooming, and hygiene assistance)
* Support with daily living activities and maintaining independence
* Assist with meal preparation, light household tasks, and cleaning
* Provide transportation to appointments and community activities
* Offer companionship and emotional support
* Work collaboratively with the participant, their family, and the care team
About You
You are a caring and empathetic individual with strong communication skills. You treat others with dignity and respect, and you are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of people living with disability.
Qualifications & Requirements
Certificate III/IV in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care, Community Services or equivalent
NDIS Worker Screening Check (mandatory)
NDIS Worker Orientation Module
Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
National Police Check
Working With Children Check
Previous experience in disability support, aged care, community care or nursing
