This is a full-time position ideal for a teacher who loves inspiring scientific curiosity and supporting students to excel in both practical and theoretical aspects of science.
About the Role
* Teach Senior Chemistry and Biology, and contribute to Junior Science (Years 7–12) as required.
* Deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that encourage critical thinking and experimentation.
* Foster a safe and Christ-centred laboratory learning environment.
* Participate in curriculum development and cross-faculty collaboration.
* Support students preparing for QCAA external assessments and tertiary pathways.
Requirements
* A degree qualification in Education with specialisation in Science (Chemistry and/or Biology).
* Registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers.
* Demonstrated ability to integrate Christian values within the curriculum.
* Strong laboratory safety knowledge and organisational skills.

Salary Range: $88,000 – $122,000 (dependent on experience, excluding superannuation).
Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Australia and hold a valid Working With Children Check.
