Hays is currently partnered with a Federal Government organisation to recruit a new EL2 Strategic Implementation Squad Lead to join them in a temporary capacity. This company is an independent statutory agency that is responsible for implementing programs that support a better life those with a significant and permanent disability and their families and carers.
**Your new role**

This is a team leadership position and you will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues of substantial depth in significant detail. You will be responsible for developing and translating strategies, policies and priorities for operational implementation and will coordinate and assume responsibility for highly complex and sensitive projects.
You will initiate and establish strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and negotiate on behalf of the organisation with relevant parities
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Drive implementation of strategic projects by developing insights, implications and recommendations
- Leading and creating materials for senior stakeholders, including the Minister, Board and Executive Leadership Team to communicate perspectives and implications for the Organisation
- Lead the development of content to embed change, including authorship of policy papers and guidance materials
- Lead the development of action plans to ensure stakeholder alignment to enable successful implementation
**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Proven ability to manage resources and performance, lead and manage teams and exercise strong decision making
- Demonstrated experience in Project or Change Management leadership
- Demonstrated experience in leadership of large, complex cross organisation projects / programs of work
- Project or Change Management qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in large, complex service delivery organisations.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications

This role offers you an attractive daily rate of $754.20 plus super, full-time hours and initial 24 month placement with the possibility of extension.
