They collaborate with course coordinators to design, refine, and evaluate course materials, ensuring ongoing improvement.
All efforts adhere strictly to standards and regulations set forth by ASQA, ANMAC, and other relevant regulatory bodies.
This commitment to compliance and quality enhancement creates an environment conducive to effective learning and student achievement.The Trainer/Assessor is expected to perform the following along with additional duties as required to meet the role's requirements:Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions, fostering an inclusive environment for active student participation, critical thinking, and providing constructive feedback to support academic progression.Coordinate simulations and placements, conduct regular supervision, and guide students in applying theoretical knowledge to practical industry settings for a comprehensive learning experience.Implement fair assessment strategies, monitor and evaluate educational programs to enhance effectiveness, and provide recommendations for ongoing improvement.Engage in ongoing professional development activities to enhance teaching and industry skills.Collaborate and communicate effectively with educators, students, and external partners to ensure a smooth and efficient learning experience.Work with the curriculum development team to create learning resources, assessments, and other materials to support high-quality education.Desired Skills and ExperienceKey Selection Criteria:Possess Cert III or Cert IV in Pathology Collection or vocational competencies at least to the level of the qualification delivered.Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110, TAE40122, or TAE40116).
Evidence of recent VET and industry professional development activities.Understanding of ASQA regulatory guidelines and standards (highly desirable).
