Development Compliance Officer

The primary function of this role is to assist the Planning, Building and Development Services team by conducting investigations and taking enforcement action on compliance matters related to development, environment, building, rural lands and local laws.
* Undertake inspections of building sites to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
* Evaluate reports from the public regarding potential breaches of regulations.
* Orient new staff members with Council's policies and procedures relating to development compliance.
