Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Experience:
* Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring every customer leaves with a positive impression of Zambrero.
* Prepare and serve food items according to Zambrero’s recipes and quality standards.
* Engage with customers to provide information about our menu, the "Plate 4 Plate" initiative, and other store offerings.
* Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a friendly and professional manner.
Store Operations
* Assist in the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
* Monitor and restock inventory as needed, ensuring adequate supplies for daily operations.
* Accurately process transactions, handle cash, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Team Collaboration
* Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
* Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
* Support new team members through training and mentorship.
Cost & Quality Management
* Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize waste while maintaining high food quality.
* Assist in tracking and reporting inventory usage, helping the store meet its cost management targets.
Health & Safety
* Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
* Report any safety hazards, equipment issues, or incidents to the Store Manager promptly.
Experience
Key Requirements
* Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a customer-facing role is preferred but not essential.
* Familiarity with food safety practices and procedures is an advantage.
Skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
* Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Personal Attributes
* Enthusiasm for food, customer service, and Zambrero’s mission.
* Reliable, punctual, and willing to take initiative.
* A positive and collaborative attitude.
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
* Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
* First Aid Certificate (desirable).
