Our Personal Carer Workers (PCWs) are highly interactive, supporting our elderly residents, their families, and colleagues 7 days a week across AM, PM, and Night shifts. This role involves working closely with the nursing, hospitality, and resident engagement teams to perform resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner, supported by highly skilled senior carers and managers. Ideally, you have worked in the Aged Care sector for at least 1 year and possess the ability to think on your feet, communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers. Additionally, you will also:
* Have a passion for choosing a career where you can make a difference and a willingness to help our company deliver quality care services every day
* Exhibit a positive teamwork attitude, be a trusted co-worker, demonstrate excellent time management (including handovers), and follow strict safety procedures to maintain a high standard of workplace safety.
* Be computer savvy, including using emails, Word, and navigating in-house training platforms.
* Have excellent workplace safety awareness to prevent residents from tripping, falling, or hurting themselves—be their extra eyes and ears.
* Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or have completed 1st-year nursing studies with a placement in Aged Care. Recognition is given to other Cert III courses in related healthcare studies. Industry work placement is also required to meet compliance standards.
* Possess NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or be willing to obtain it, as it is essential to work in the Aged Care sector.
