Key Responsibilities and Functions
* Provide general administrative support and customer service duties for Council’s Town Planning team.
* Assist in the preparation and processing of Planning documents.
* Maintain records and provide timely production of reports for Council.
* Provide customer point of contact for Planning including Planning enquiries.
* Receive, assess and initiate action on enquiries and requests.
* Assist in the management and maintenance of databases.
* Research basic issues and prepare routine reports.
* Respond to routine correspondence on behalf of the Team and undertake follow-up action on outstanding correspondence or reports.
* Follow up action officer lists.
Minimum Requirements:
* Cert II or higher in Business Administration.
* Prior experience in an administration/clerical/reception-oriented role.
* Good written and oral communication skills.
* Competent in the application of Microsoft software applications.
Desirable qualifications and experience:
* Prior experience in the Town Planning industry.
