About the Role Join a dynamic General and Trauma Surgery team delivering high‐quality, patient‐centred care. You'll manage acute and complex cases, build strong clinical pathways, and support service excellence, while contributing to teaching, mentoring and research in a fast‐paced hospital setting.
Duties
* Deliver safe, best practice general and trauma surgery care
* Manage acute surgical and trauma patient care
* Coordinate care plans across multidisciplinary teams
* Collaborate with ED, wards, theatre and support services
* Support undergraduate and postgraduate teaching
* Mentor and guide junior medical staff
* Contribute to research and service improvement
* Engage with referrals from GPs and external providers
* Provide compassionate care to patients and families
About You You're a capable and collaborative surgeon ready to deliver high‐quality trauma and general surgical care in a fast‐paced environment.
* Hold FRACS or equivalent specialist qualification
* Meet specialist registration with Medical Board of Australia
* Show strong general and trauma surgery capability
* Bring experience in trauma, burns and acute care
* Contribute to teaching, research and quality improvement
