Inventory Management Professional
As an Inventory Management Professional, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the company's inventory levels and ensuring efficient storage. You will be part of a respected team responsible for managing stock levels, investigating discrepancies, and documenting stock transfers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and stock levels to ensure seamless operations
* Investigate discrepancies and document stock transfers, returns, and adjustments to prevent losses
* Issue, return, and enter stock data into the Inventory Management System to maintain up-to-date records
* Accept deliveries, load/unload parts and consumables for freight, and ensure safe, efficient inventory storage to prevent damage or loss
* Conduct full inspections of working areas to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and ensure safe operations
* Establish minimum/maximum stock levels for efficient inventory management to prevent overstocking or understocking
* Raise and receipt purchase orders in accordance with site policy to ensure timely delivery of required materials
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar stores/inventory role to demonstrate competence
* Experience in mining or heavy industrial environments preferred to showcase adaptability
* Strong computer skills to efficiently manage inventory data and systems
* Ability to interpret maintenance parts and familiarity with mine site consumables highly regarded to improve operational efficiency
