Role and Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of accounts.
* Schedule pick-ups & deliveries.
* Ensure customer requirements are met.
* Liaise with customers and carriers.
* Answer calls and customer queries.
* Further investigation of freight queries.
* Data entry.
* Follow up phone calls with an email to confirm all details are correct and have all quotes in writing.
* Provide successful account management techniques to support the ever-growing client base.
* Maintain relationships of major accounts within your portfolio.
* Control service levels (pick-up and delivery windows) to optimize client satisfaction each day.
* Provide constant feedback to management on account progress, including problems, faults, and areas of improvement, as well as passing on information regarding urgent bookings or priority jobs.
* Constantly liaise with clients and carriers regarding consignments.
* Attention to detail when making notations and placing bookings.
