About the Role
Canterbury Hospital is committed to providing high quality healthcare services to our local community, focused on patient and family-centred care.
To provide a high quality Dietetic service to patients/clients and carers in order to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for the patients/clients of the service.
This will include providing nutrition care, education, counselling and nutrition support to inpatients and/or outpatients in a clinical area. Exercise professional judgement in line with years of experience is actively involved in quality assurance and service development activities within the department. Level 2 staff may be involved in clinical supervision of more junior staff and students.

Ideal Candidate
* Must hold a Bachelor or post graduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia.
* Demonstrated knowledge, skills and clinical experience in Nutrition and Dietetic practice and the provision of services to dietetics, in an inpatient and outpatient setting.
* Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
* Previous experience in student supervision.
