Buderim Air is a well-established air conditioning and refrigeration company based on the Sunshine Coast, servicing residential, commercial, and light industrial clients across South East Queensland.
With over 30 years of industry experience and continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician to join our team in a full-time, long-term position.
About the role
This is a hands-on technical role suited to an experienced tradesperson, involving:
* Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and servicing programs
* Installation and commissioning of new HVAC and refrigeration systems
* Supporting commercial and industrial upgrade and replacement projects
* Working on VRV/VRF, ducted, split, and light commercial systems
* Ensuring all work complies with WHS, safety, and Australian standards
* Providing professional customer service and technical advice on-site

What we're looking for
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Trade qualification in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
* Demonstrated experience in commercial and light industrial systems
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence (or eligibility to obtain)
* QLD Restricted Electrical Licence (or eligibility to obtain)
* Current manual driver's licence
* Construction White Card
* Strong communication skills and a professional work ethic
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with chilled water systems, process cooling, or large commercial HVAC installations will be highly regarded.
