Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Female Support Specialist to join our team in providing support to our client in a female home setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dementia, as well as the ability to provide high-quality care and support.
Responsibilities
* Provide personalized support and care in a residential setting.
* Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
* Follow individualized care plans based on client needs and goals.
* Monitor client progress and communicate any changes or concerns to the care team.
* Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and incident reports.
Skills
* Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities, dementia or mental health issues.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
* Knowledge of dementia care practices and strategies for supporting individuals with their needs.
Qualifications
* Current First Aid/CPR certification.
* Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
* NDIS workers screening check and orientation Module certificate.
