Our client is an established and reputable construction company seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their project team. This role plays a key part in the successful delivery of major building projects by managing procurement, subcontractor relationships, and head contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
* Preparing subcontractor packages, scopes, tenders and procurement schedules across multiple trades.
* Vetting and reviewing contracts to ensure compliance and protect project and company interests.
* Supporting the Project Manager in administering the head contract in line with time, cost, and scope entitlements.
* Managing subcontractor claims, variations, EOTs, and progress payments.
* Preparing and submitting client progress claims.
* Monitoring site progress and ensuring subcontractors meet contractual and documentation requirements.
* Maintaining accurate documentation, contract records, risk assessments, and project correspondence.
* Finalising project close‐out requirements including variations, manuals, defects, and deeds of release.
Qualifications
* 3 years or more experience as a Contracts Administrator on major commercial building projects.
* Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
* A solid understanding of contract law principles and construction regulations.
* Strong procurement, analytical, negotiation, and problem‐solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast‐paced environment.
* Proficiency with construction software such as CHEOPS, Aconex, and Microsoft Office 365.
* A collaborative working style and excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
