Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee our maintenance, reliability, and facilities functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring asset performance, plant reliability, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
* The role requires a strong background in maintenance leadership, trade or engineering qualifications, and knowledge of CMMS and asset management best practices.
Main Responsibilities:
* To lead preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
* To manage CMMS systems and track maintenance KPIs (e.g. MTBF, MTTR, schedule compliance).
* To apply reliability engineering tools including RCM, RCA, FMEA, and predictive maintenance techniques.
* To oversee facilities infrastructure (HVAC, utilities, compressed air, lighting) and manage external service providers.
* To develop and manage maintenance budgets, spare parts strategy, and contractor performance.
* To deliver small-scale engineering and site improvement projects.
* To support audits and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
* To lead, develop, and support maintenance teams including trades and apprentices.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years' leadership experience in maintenance or reliability within manufacturing/industrial settings is required.
* A trade or Engineering qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics) is essential.
* Strong knowledge of CMMS, asset management, and maintenance best practices is necessary.
* A proven track record in improving plant performance and reliability is expected.
* Strong skills in problem-solving, RCA/FMEA, planning, and team development are required.
Desirable:
* Experience in food, pharma, or FMCG sectors would be advantageous.
* Certification in Reliability Engineering or Maintenance Management would be beneficial.
* Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, FSSC22000 compliance would be desirable.
