Introduction
Depot/ Field Service Technician at EOS Defence Systems (EOS DS)
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Depot Technician to join our Canberra-based team. This dynamic role involves maintaining, repairing, and supporting our cutting-edge Remote Weapon Systems (RWS) at our Hume depot and in the field—across Australia and internationally.
About The Role
As a Depot Technician, you will support the Repair & Overhaul activities of in-service EOS products. This includes diagnostics, system upgrades, and repairs—alongside field support for integration, testing, and maintenance. You will also be responsible for demonstrating RWS operations to stakeholders and ensuring depot operations meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out assessments, repairs, upgrades, and disposal of EOSDS products in line with project and contract requirements.
2. Complete R&O documentation to ensure traceability and compliance.
3. Maintain depot facilities, equipment, and processes in accordance with ISO 9001.
4. Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting in field operations.
5. Assist with system integration, maintenance, and upgrades at customer sites.
6. Support system demonstrations for internal teams and external clients.
7. Perform other duties as directed by the Technical Services Manager or Depot Support Engineer.

Experience & Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar technical or support role.
* Experience in field service or defence-related technical support is highly desirable.
* Certificate IV in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
* Weapons maintenance experience is a plus—or a willingness to attain relevant qualifications.
