The Role
We seek an experienced Senior Valuer to join our Specialist Valuations & Litigation team in Melbourne. You'll manage a portfolio of retail assets across South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, and Western Australia, providing high-quality valuation advice to clients and liaising with key stakeholders.
This core leadership role focuses on both technical and cultural leadership, supporting the wellbeing and development of younger colleagues while driving business growth and excellence.
Your Responsibilities:
* Support Victorian-based leadership and assist in managing our national Rating, Taxation, and Advisory Team (RTA).
* Prepare valuation modelling in accordance with state-based legislation, presenting valuation contentions to authorities and delegates.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration across teams on multi-disciplinary projects.
* Promote our services and create business opportunities through strategic networking and relationship-building.
About You:
* Tertiary qualifications in Valuation at graduate or post-graduate level.
* 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results and building strong relationships.
* Certified Practising Valuer registration in Victoria is highly desirable.
* Experience in statutory valuations within Victoria, including knowledge of relevant statute and case law.
* Strong project management skills, effective communication, and ability to build rapport with team members and clients.
