About The Role
As a Junior Litigation Lawyer with between 0 – 2 years’ experience, you will work closely with our senior lawyers and Directors on a variety of civil and commercial litigation matters. You’ll be involved in all aspects of these matters including legal research, drafting court documents, liaising with clients, and attending court and tribunal proceedings. Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the management of dispute resolution & litigation files
* Draft pleadings, affidavit and correspondence
* Conduct legal research and analysis
* Attend court and tribunal hearings and mediations
* Communicate effectively with clients, counsel, experts and other stakeholders
* Support senior lawyers and Directors with case strategy and file management
Key Skills & Attributes
* A law degree and current practising certificate (or eligibility to obtain one)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A proactive and professional approach to client service
* Genuine interest in civil and commercial litigation and dispute resolution
* Proactively embraces and has strong technology skills
* Ideally experience working as a paralegal, but not essential
