Hobart City Mission's Sorting Warehouse is the main centre for receiving deliveries of donations. From here, stock is sorted and prepared ready for collection, to be distributed to our many Retail stores.
No experience is necessary as training will be provided.
Volunteering Opportunities are available Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Responsibilities
- Sort and prepare donated stock for collection and distribution to retail stores.
Requirements
- National Police Certificate
- Working with Vulnerable People Check
Additional Requirements
No experience is necessary. Requirements include honesty and reliability with a friendly nature, and the ability to work within a team workplace. A National Police check (no cost to you) is required. Please note: as each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers should check with the organisation regarding coverage for volunteers for the roles they undertake.
