About the role
We're looking for a strategic, customer-focused Account Director to lead a portfolio of high-value enterprise accounts within the NSW Enterprise team. This role is central to driving growth across Optus Business' managed ICT services, mobility, and outsourced solutions. You’ll play a key role in deepening client partnerships, delivering innovative solutions, and expanding our presence in the enterprise market.
The day to day
* Manage a portfolio of enterprise customers with varied service needs and significant Total Contract Value (TCV).
* Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-level and IT decision makers.
* Drive revenue, profitability and market share through strategic account growth.
* Champion the early adoption of new products and services.
* Lead co-creation and innovation initiatives to introduce and embed Optus capabilities.
* Act as a market advocate for Optus’ enterprise offerings across ICT, mobility, and outsourcing.
* Mentor and support Account Managers and collaborate across teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

* Proven ability in relationship-based sales leadership.
* Understanding of GTM logic and vertical strategies.
* Demonstrated success in business development within complex enterprise environments.
* Solid understanding of cloud-based and managed ICT services.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
* Ability to manage long sales cycles and multiple internal/external stakeholders.
* Collaborative leadership style and experience mentoring others.
