About the role
The role of the Solution Architect plays a pivotal role in orchestrating the architecture design, the seamless integration of technology and the uplift of digital capability for the Division. The Solution Architect will need to understand the Division’s business strategy, priorities and requirements. The Solution Architect will leverage their expertise in both technology and leadership to design end-to-end solutions, address technology risks, and help the Division to realise the benefits for transforming the operations to a digital way of working.
Initially the role will focus on providing technical expertise and knowledge to the development of a business case to seek funding for a future digitisation program of work. It is expected that the Solution Architect will work across one or more projects.
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate would have:
1. 5+ years’ experience working in a technology and digital project environment (, Digital Transformation).
2. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant Information Technology discipline or demonstrated experience in solutions development.
3. Demonstrated achievements in technology and infrastructure architecture and design in senior roles working in complex enterprise environments
4. Success in leading development teams to establish the delivery approach and progress the technology vision to achieve the program outcomes
5. A highly skilled individual with comprehensive knowledge of the technological landscape and infrastructure, supporting enterprise business solutions, coupled with advanced expertise in application, integration and security technologies and their associated architecture patterns
6. Success in writing effectively for technical and non-technical audiences, including technical architecture documents, and in delivering impactful presentations to influence stakeholders and to inform decisions
7. Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and customers at various levels in an organisation and contribute at a senior level within a large cross-functional technical team.
