Position
This is a 6‐month fixed‐term, full‐time position commencing Term 3, 2026 with possible extension (12 months) and/or permanency.
Corrigin District High School (CDHS) requires a dedicated primary classroom teacher to work in an Upper Primary class in Semester 2 2026.
CDHS is situated in the Southern Wheatbelt and caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 10 (K‐10). We are proud of our strong ethos of a caring, inclusive learning community where social and emotional competence, student engagement, staff collaboration and high‐quality curriculum delivery are essential to our success. Through the Resilience Project, students are encouraged to develop as grateful, empathetic and mindful individuals, and staff model these values.
The school is fully air‐conditioned, with traditional classrooms equipped with BenQ flat panels, laptops and iPads. Pre‐primary and Kindergarten students enjoy their own outdoor nature play area, while other cohorts have access to nature play equipment, basketball and netball courts, a large, grassed oval, sand pits and challenging climbing equipment.
Corrigin is a relaxed, friendly community with a strong agricultural sector and a range of local employers, sporting, social and other services. Services include childcare, hydrotherapy and outdoor 50‐m pools, a modern gym, premium oval and recreation centre, beauty therapists, supermarkets, a popular hotel and medical services including a hospital, pharmacy, general practitioner and chiropractor.

* Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration
