The Sales Executive is a customer role focused on maximising value to customers through having deep knowledge of the challenges facing the South Australian Government, and how IT can be a part of the solution. This position requires a strategic mindset, deep industry knowledge and relationships, and the ability to navigate high-value opportunities with a particular focus on the South Australian State Government.

The Sales Executive will specialise in embedding themselves into agencies across the South Australian Government. They will support, and provide thought leadership to, leaders across Government, deepening long‐term partnerships and bringing the best of Fujitsu to the customer. Success in this role demands a combination of high touch customer care and collaboration across a range of business units, partners, and stakeholders.

About the role

Developing and expanding current Fujitsu relationships and customers.

Build relationships with key decision‑makers at senior levels of agencies across the South Australian Government.

Work with customers to define how IT can support their mission, policy objectives, and resolve citizen pain points with government.

Develop and execute strategies to transform these opportunities into a roadmap of tangible outcomes for agencies that they can execute on. This includes account plans for customers, close plans for high‑value deals, and other standard planning tools for high‑performance sales teams.

Lead complex deal negotiations, including multi‑million‑dollar contracts, ensuring alignment with customer needs and Fujitsu’s objectives.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as Delivery, Operations, Consulting and Marketing to create customised solutions for enterprise clients. This includes maintaining high quality sales data regarding pipeline and deal milestones to ensure alignment across Fujitsu.

Work with key partners such as ServiceNow, Dynatrace, Microsoft and AWS (amongst others) to ensure coordinated engagement with customers to maximise outcomes and value for customers.

Stay ahead of industry trends and technological advancements to position Fujitsu as a trusted advisor to clients.

Represent Fujitsu at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to promote the company’s capabilities and value proposition.

About you

10+ years of sales experience across a diverse set of clients and industries with a focus on South Australian Government clients.

Deep knowledge of the IT market to provide the most current solutions to potential clients.

A robust network, and networking skills with the ability to effectively communicate through to the C‑suite level.

Strong financial and commercial acumen to deliver quality proposals to the customer, ensuring stakeholders are engaged, pricing is accurate, language and branding are consistent with Fujitsu standards.
