Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Service Delivery Manager to lead our appliance service operations and take the business to the next level.
You'll be responsible for service delivery, customer satisfaction, team leadership, and strategic growth of our service offering.
About the Role
This role is a hybrid position combining some time on site assisting and mentoring service technicians, with the balance working from the office.
As the Service Delivery Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day performance of our appliance service division — leading a team of skilled technicians and support staff, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving business profitability.
You'll be responsible for service delivery, customer satisfaction, team leadership, training, and strategic growth of our service offering.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage service operations including repairs, installations, and maintenance
* Oversee scheduling, dispatch, and workflow to ensure timely, high-quality service
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and warranty partners
* Manage budgets, KPIs, and financial performance of the service division
* Drive business improvement initiatives and identify growth opportunities
* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing service team
* Ensure compliance with safety and quality
About You
You're an experienced operations or service leader who thrives in a hands-on, customer-focused environment. You combine commercial acumen with strong people leadership skills and enjoy improving processes to achieve outstanding results.
You'll bring:
* Trade HVAC qualifications
* 5+ years' experience in appliance service, maintenance, or field service management
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Proven experience managing budgets, KPIs, and service performance
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Good technical understanding of appliances and servicing processes
* Proficiency with service management or scheduling systems
* Strong Microsoft Suite experience
* Strong understanding of job management software i.e. SimPro, AroFlo
Desirable:
* Experience managing warranty and manufacturer service agreements
