The Clinical Governance Unit are seeking a Support Officer to join them. The Mental Health Act Support Officer provides administrative support, assists in the quality management and maintenance of data contained within the Consumer Integrated Mental Health and Addiction Application for the Clinical Director of Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service.

The Clinical Governance Unit is a team dedicated to ensuring that everyone from frontline clinicians to managers are accountable to consumers and the community, assuring the delivery of Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Services that are safe, effective, integrated, high quality and continuously improving.
About your role:
* Establish work priorities autonomously or with limited supervision in order to meet competing deadlines. Organise meetings and appointments, maintaining discretion in the absence of decision makers in dealing with circumstance of conflict resolution.
* Assist in quality assurance improvement activities in relation to the storage and ongoing management of highly confidential client information, both in paper and electronic formats.
* Ensure all written notices where required under the Mental Health Act 2016 are distributed and recorded to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
* Maintain an efficient standard of administrative functions for the Mental Health ACT Delegate by providing support with management of records whilst monitoring flow of correspondence to ensure appropriate and timely action.
