Job Description
A Heavy Vehicle Mechanic plays a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet. You will be responsible for undertaking maintenance and repairs on a range of plant items, vehicles and mechanical equipment.
We are looking for an ambitious and skilled individual who can work autonomously with good problem-solving skills and fault diagnosis skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintenance and repairs of plant items, vehicles and mechanical equipment.
* Installation, maintenance, repairs, commissioning, and modification of complex hydraulic/pneumatic machinery.
* Safety management and risk assessment.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will require:
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Heavy Vehicle Mechanical trade or Plant Mechanical trade qualification.
* AIS Examiners Ticket (highly desirable).
* Experience working with a variety of Heavy Vehicles.
* Welding and metal fabrication experience (highly desirable).
