**Job Description**:
Mattel ANZ are seeking a Brand Manager to join our Marketing team! In this role you will continue to build brand love for the Dolls portfolio, by creating brand plans for future years and executing the ‘now’.
**As a** Brand Manager you will be responsible for**:
- Creating detailed local brand plans to ensure the right target market are finding the right products.
- Presenting the plans both internally and to retail partners as required.
- Ownership of the portfolio - driving reviews, presentations and timelines.
- In conjunction with the Senior Brand Manager, developing and implementing promotional and advertising activities to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual business objectives.
- Reviewing sales performance of segments/ brands regularly and recommending changes in media. Adapting plans where required.
- Liaising with Mattel’s media, creative & PR agencies to develop and executing key marketing campaigns.
- Monitoring and controlling A&P; spend ensuring adequate records are kept, purchase orders are raised, and invoices are paid on a timely basis.
- Analysing and interpreting consumer research, data and analytics, to seek the opportunity or the solve.
- Keeping abreast of trends and current competitors in the toy market, ensuring Mattel stays aware of competitor brand activities, licensing programs and new entrants.
**Qualifications**:
- Tertiary qualified in Commerce, Marketing, Business Management, or other business-related disciplines.
- Previous experience as a Brand or Product Manager (1-2 years). Experience in FMCG or consumer goods environment is preferable but not required.
- Experience in range management, including pricing and forecasting.
- Thorough understanding of standard marketing techniques including financial / sales and marketing analysis, retail performance analysis, and promotions.
- Experience working with sales teams to execute commercially viable business plans.
- Experience in briefing and working with external agencies on marketing campaigns.
- Experience in managing budgets.
