Electrical Engineer Role Overview
The Electrical Engineer will be part of a dynamic team responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of assets. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of engineering activities and contribute to the success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Electrical and Control Engineering Team to manage a portfolio of assets including bauxite processing plants, stockyards, export facilities, and supporting infrastructure.
* Work closely with other engineering disciplines to provide sustainable and efficient solutions to engineering problems affecting plant stability.
* Conduct risk assessments, production and safety incident investigations, and reliability assessments to determine major causes of downtime.
* Implement improvement projects and manage bridging and forcing registers to resolve underlying issues.
* Develop and implement maintenance processes and ensure compliance with relevant statutory and legislative provisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or higher from a recognized institution.
* Comprehensive knowledge of asset management, service, and maintenance of heavy industrial power systems.
* Familiarity with relevant regulatory authorities and Australian Standards relating to electrical installations and practices.
Desirable skills include experience in Power Generation, HV Distribution, Control Systems, and TUV certifications.
