Your core responsibility will be to approve and publish Australian research reports in a timely manner, occasionally assisting the UK Research team as well.
You'll work closely with analysts, internal stakeholders, and other team members to ensure research content is compliant, clear, and of the highest quality.This role will require flexibility to adjust working hours during reporting periods and team member absences.
Due to the nature of the business and the role, you may also be required to attend meetings outside of normal business hours with a schedule of 10:00am to 7:00pm (AWST) on occasion.Key responsibilitiesReviewing Research Reports: Ensure compliance with global regulations and firm policies, and verify the accuracy and data, calculations, and conclusions.Editorial Support: Edit reports for quality, clarity, consistency, style, and grammar.Collaborating with Analysts: Work closely with analysts to help structure content that is timely, balanced, and commercially sound.Liaising with Internal Teams: Engage with research management, compliance, and editorial teams to ensure smooth operations.Research Platform Administration: Assist in the management and distribution of research reports across various platforms.About youTo be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 3 years' experience with a strong understanding of financial services and research compliance.
You will also have:FINRA Series 16 (Required), Series 24 is a plus.CIRO Partners, Directors, and Officers course, or willingness to complete upon joining.Advanced proficiency in Word and Excel.Experience with Blue Matrix is advantageous.A commitment to high ethical standards, with a focus on integrity, honesty, and fair dealing.Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to assess data accuracy and consistency.Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with analysts and internal teams.About usCanaccord Genuity is one of Australia's leading Capital Markets and Wealth Management firms operating in the fast-paced world of financial services.
