We are looking for a hands-on Hire Manager to take ownership of our crushing and screening rental fleet across Western Australia.
This is not a desk-only role. We need someone who understands the gear, can build relationships with customers, manage fleet performance, and help grow the rental side of the business.
The ideal person is a qualified fitter or someone with strong on-site crushing and screening experience who understands mobile equipment and can confidently communicate with supervisors, operators, maintenance teams, and project managers.
About the Role
You will be responsible for:
* Managing the day-to-day rental fleet operations
* Growing rental revenue and securing new hire opportunities
* Building strong relationships with mining, quarrying, and civil customers
* Inspecting, troubleshooting, and supporting equipment on site
* Coordinating mobilisation, demobilisation, servicing, and repairs
* Working closely with service, sales, and operations teams
* Preparing rental quotes and following up opportunities
* Supporting customers with technical advice and problem solving
* Assisting with commissioning and machine handovers where required
What We’re Looking For
* Trade qualified fitter or diesel mechanic
* Experience with mobile crushing and screening equipment
* Strong understanding of mining or quarry operations
* Ability to build relationships and sell solutions, not just equipment
* Organised and able to manage multiple projects at once
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Willingness to travel to mine and quarry sites
* Experience in rental, hire, or contract crushing is highly regarded
